Hello everyone – this message is going to a special group of people that I have had the privilege to work with at one time or another over the last 10 years.
You're busy so I’ll get right to the point:
A special friend - who has limited resources - has been diagnosed with cancer and I would like to ask for your help with a donation to him.
Who?
My housemate here in San Francisco since December 2000 – Jimmy Welsh.
I'd like to ask you to join me and lend Jimmy a hand.

A Brief Background
As most of you know – while I work in San Francisco – my family and I reside 3 hours away in the Sierra Foothills. I have commuted and rented a room from Jimmy in San Francisco for the last 10 years working with some great companies and wonderful people like you.
Jimmy helped make our success together possible and has become a good friend. Jimmy is self-employed with no family besides me and a few other friends (and 2 cats).
While his prognosis is very good, he will be out of work for about 6 months while undergoing treatment. He has good medical insurance but as he is unable to work so cash is going to be tight.
You can make a huge difference for him by making a donation. Any amount will help.
